Controller and contact

The data controller is Stanisław Szwechowicz, ul. Juraty 23, 80-299 Gdańsk, Poland. For privacy enquiries, contact rzezba@stanislawszwechowicz.pl.

Browsing and correspondence

This artist’s portfolio has no shop, contact form, advertising tools or analytics. The hosting server may record IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser information for operation and security, based on the controller’s legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Hosting is provided by cyber_Folks. Logs are kept by the hosting provider: they are available for 60 days and their archive for no longer than 12 months, after which it is deleted.

Email and telephone details are used to reply to enquiries. For enquiries about commissions, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Other correspondence is handled in the legitimate interest of responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve the matter, or longer where legal obligations or claims require it.

Browser storage and cookies

Your browser storage (localStorage) records only your map preference and its date. This remembers consent or refusal; it is not used for visitor analytics. The choice is honoured for 180 days, after which you are asked again. You can delete it in your browser settings. WordPress uses essential login cookies for administrators.

Optional Google Maps

Google Maps is blocked until you explicitly allow it. Loading it is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Google then receives your IP address and browser information and may use its own cookies. See Google’s privacy policy, including information on processing outside the EEA.

You may withdraw consent at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer, then “Necessary only”. This removes the map. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing or delete data already received by Google. Google cookies can be managed in your browser and Google account settings. The directions link opens Google’s external service at your request.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent and complain to the Polish supervisory authority (President of UODO). The website controller does not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.

Recipients

Hosting, email and technical support providers may process technical data and correspondence to the extent needed to provide their services. Data may also be disclosed to authorised authorities where required by law. If you enable the map, Google also receives connection data under the terms described above.

Voluntary choices

Enabling the map is optional. Refusal does not restrict access to galleries, the biography or contact details. Providing information in correspondence is voluntary, but we cannot reply without contact details. Technical connection data is needed to deliver and protect the website.

Privacy enquiries

Contact rzezba@stanislawszwechowicz.pl. You may object in particular to processing based on legitimate interests. Information about complaints is available from the Polish data protection authority.
